Overview

The Projects module is the operational hub for managing client projects inside Indema. It centralizes project information, client context, design direction, deliverables, notes, products, invoices, purchase orders, timelogs, and collaboration into a single workspace.

Projects are designed to help firms maintain operational continuity across teams, reduce communication breakdowns, and keep project information structured and accessible.

What the Projects Module Includes

Each project contains multiple connected areas, including:

  • Dashboard

  • Project Overview

  • Products

  • Notes

  • Invoices

  • Estimates

  • Purchase Orders

  • Timelogs

  • Work in Progress

Each section filters data directly to the selected project.

Accessing the Projects Module

  1. From the left navigation menu, click Projects

  2. The Projects table view opens automatically

The table displays:

  • Project Name

  • Client

  • Status

  • Estimated Completion

  • Last Updated

  • Actions

Understanding Project Statuses

Default statuses include:

  • Draft

  • Proposal

  • Planning

  • In Progress

  • On Hold

  • Complete

Statuses can be customized to match your firm’s workflow.

Understanding the Dashboard

The project dashboard provides a high-level operational snapshot of the project.

Dashboard widgets currently include:

  • Overall progress

  • Products sourced

  • Products delivered

  • External team

  • Project information

  • Upcoming tasks

  • FF&E by room

  • Activity feed

Operational Notes

The Projects module is designed to preserve operational continuity across the project lifecycle. Teams can centralize client intelligence, design direction, project scope, references, legal documentation, and communication history in one place.
