The fastest way to send a single product to a client or vendor.

Exporting one spec sheet

  1. Open Sidebar → Products

  2. Find the product (use the search or filter by project / room / category)

  3. Click the ⋯ action menu on the product row → Download Spec Sheet

  4. The PDF builds in the background and downloads to your computer

That's it. The file is ready to attach to an email or upload to a vendor portal.

What's on a spec sheet

Every spec sheet uses your branding (logo + accent color from Settings → Finances → Branding) and includes:

Header:

  • Your studio logo, top-left

  • Project name + room (if the product is tagged to a project)

  • Spec number (your Catalog's spec naming sequence)

  • Date

Product identity:

  • Product name + client-facing name

  • Vendor + vendor SKU / model number

  • Main image — the largest size you've uploaded

Specifications block:

  • Dimensions (W × D × H)

  • Material, finish, color, pattern, orientation

  • Lead time

  • Any custom spec fields from the product record

Commercial details (designer-facing variant only):

  • Unit cost

  • Markup % / margin %

  • Client price

  • Quantity

Client-facing details (client-facing variant):

  • Client price only — no unit cost or markup visible

  • Designer-only fields hidden

Footer:

  • Studio name + contact info (from Settings → Finances → Business Information)

  • Page number (for spec sheets, always "1 of 1")

Designer-facing vs Client-facing

When you click Download Spec Sheet, Workroom asks which version you want:

  • Designer / Vendor copy — full pricing, internal codes, vendor SKU

  • Client copy — client price only, designer-only fields hidden

Pick based on who you're sending it to. The two variants come out of the same product record — no separate setup needed.

Customizing what shows on the spec sheet

A toggle panel before download lets you control display:

  • Show logo — independent of "Show company info"

  • Show company info — your studio block

  • Show product image — toggle off for spec-only docs

  • Show pricing — auto-off for the Client copy; toggle as needed for Designer copy

  • Show vendor info — hide if you don't want to expose your source

  • Show internal notes — Designer copy only

The toggles you pick stick for your next export so you don't have to re-tweak each time.
