At indema, we want you to get paid quicker. To do this, we've automated the estimate process for you and your clients. What this means, is when your clients approve estimates when you send it to them (this also works if you just send an invoice and not an estimate), the estimate will automatically convert into an invoice and purchase order(s) for the approved items only.

Note 1: Purchase orders when generated will be batched by vendor. If you have 50 items where 25 are from one vendor and 25 from another, 2 purchase orders will be generated.

Note 2: You can turn off this automation in settings > Finance > Estimate's, Invoice's + PO's. You will see a section like this:

By default, this is turned on. If you choose to turn this off, you will have to manually create all of your purchase orders which is a more lengthy process.
