Settings → Contracts has two tabs.
Defaults
These become the starting point for every new contract — designers can override per-contract.
Default font — pick from Inter, Lato, Roboto, Open Sans, Source Sans Pro, Montserrat, Poppins, Urbanist, Playfair Display, Merriweather, Georgia, Times New Roman, Arial
Default font size — 9 to 28 px
Primary color — used for headers, accents, the section dividers in the rendered PDF

Use my company logo — when on, every new contract starts with your Designer brand logo in the header
The live preview at the bottom shows what your contracts will look like with the current selections.
Post-sign automation
Two toggles that run once a contract is fully signed. Both are off by default.
Auto-create the client
When a contract was sent without a Client linked, this turns the first client-role signer's name + email into a real Workroom Contact when they sign. If a contact with that email already exists, it's linked instead of duplicated.
Use it when: you regularly send contracts to prospects who aren't in your contact list yet.
Auto-create the project
When a contract was sent without a Project linked, this spins up a new Project named after the contract when it's signed.
Use it together with Auto-create client to get a full record (new client + new project, with the client set as the project's primary contact) automatically from a single signed contract.
What signing-time looks like with both on
You build a contract, leave Client + Project blank, add the prospect as a "client" signer
They sign
Workroom creates a Contact from their signer info, a Project named "Their Contract Title", links the client to the project, and stamps the signed PDF onto the new project's Overview
The signed contract also appears on the new client's record
Saved templates tab
Lists every whole-contract and section template your studio has saved. Rename, delete, or audit which type each template covers.
Troubleshooting
My font picker changed but the rendered PDF still shows the old font. Existing contracts snapshot their branding at create time. Defaults only apply to NEW contracts. To apply to an existing contract, open it and update the branding in the details rail.
Auto-create-client toggle is on but no contact appeared after a signature. Three things to verify: (a) the contract really had no Client linked at create time, (b) the first signer's role is set to Client (not Designer / Witness / Other), (c) the signer has BOTH a name and an email. If all three are true, check the contract's audit log — there should be a warning event if auto-create failed.
Auto-create-project made the project, but the project's Overview is empty. That's expected — the Project is created with just a name. Open the project and fill in the address, dates, and team manually.
